Back in the saddle again. . .

Twelve pounds.

I've gained 12 pounds in a matter of three months. Obviously, something has got to give. I work out, I'm active, I'm generally healthy, but something is clearly not working.

It, of course, is my eating habits. I eat very healthy, unprocessed foods with lots of veggies and fruits, but I often don't stop to think that one can always consume to much of a good thing. Just because tofu is healthy doesn't mean I have license to eat four servings covered in a fatty sauce. Just because my pasta is whole wheat doesn't mean I can eat two large steaming bowls covered in cheese.

I also have this really bad junk food weakness. I may not buy chips but if I am at a function where a there is a bowl I have NO restraint at all. None. That also goes for candy, cakes, donuts, you name it.

So here I am back in the saddle again.

If any of you out there need a weight loss buddy please let me know. I need a partner in this. What I don't need is a condescending pat on the head and a, "but you like fine." I need someone to support me and cheer me on. Will that be you?

Oh I hear you...I do....Those last 6 to 10 pounds that I could lose? They are being held on by GIANT bowls of past and rice. I could live on pasta and rice. But, I should also moderate. You know, I am and will always be your friend. Lets do this!
